Ephesians 4:11-(TPT) – And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.
Question: What gift have you been appointed with? Or do you go to church as a spectator?
Ephesians 4:16 – (TPT) – For his “body” has been formed in his image and closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and these gifts work effectively through out the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love.
Study Ephesians 4:11-16 and pray to the Holy Spirit our comforter what gift or gifts you have. And how you may use them!!
Grace that does not lead to holiness is not grace at all. – Bill Johnson
Colossians 2:19,20 – (TPT) They refuse to take hold of the true source and honor him as Head. But we receive directly from him and his life supplies vitality into every part of his body through joining ligaments connecting us all as one. He is the divine Head who guides his body and causes it to grow by supernatural power of God.
* life supplies is the Greek word “epichoregeo” which can be translated to “lead the chorus ” or “choir director “. In that day they would have associated this with the person who funded and supplied the needs of a Greek drama. So JESUS is our choir director! 🙌🔥🙌

Colossians 2:16 – 19 – (TPT)- Don’t let anyone disqualify you from your prize! Don’t let their pretended sincerity fool you as they deliberately lead you into their initiation of angel worship. For they take pleasure in pretending to be experts of something they know nothing about. Their reasoning is meaningless and comes only from their opinions. They refuse to take hold the true source and honor him as the Head.
As in Paul’s day there are those who want to distract you from the “true source” which is Jesus and only Jesus! The distractions come in many ways and will try to fool you with clever arguments of mans intellect. Look to Jesus in the finished work who left us the “comforter” as gifts now flow through us in the power of the Holy Spirit! Have a blessed day….
Colossians 2:15 – (TPT) Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner, they were his!
Yes and Amen!!
Well after coming out my Thanksgiving Day coma ….I resumed my study of the Pauline epistle of Colossians chapter 2 in the Passion Translation. Brian Simmons has done a wonderful job with this new translations series. He titled Colossians “Heavens Hope” in the “Letters From Heaven which includes the following books: Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and I and II Timothy. I have been so totally blessed by this translation series given to me my daughter and son-in-law.
Colossians 2:2 – I am contending for you that your hearts will be wrapped in the comfort of heaven and woven together into love’s fabric. The certainty of your faith will give you access to all the riches of revelation of God’s great mystery – Christ unveiled in you. Passion Translation (TPT) * access in the Aramaic is “approach.”
This is Paul interceding for them and giving a wonderful promise about the great mystery which is “CHRIST unveiled in you.” This is so good!
Colossians 1:26-27 – “There is a divine mystery – a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations, but now its being revealed, unfolded for every believer to experience. Living within you is the CHRIST who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of CHRIST, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and GOD wants everyone to know it! ” – Passion Translation
What a wonderful promise! Mystery of Christ in you and God wants you to know it.
Habakkuk 1:5 – ” I am doing a work in your days that you won’t even believe even when its announced to you.” (TPT)
Acts 13:41 – “Be amazed and in agony you scoffers! For in that day I will do something so wonderful that when I perform mighty deeds among you, …you won’t even believe it was I who did it! (TPT)
The Apostle Paul referring to Habakkuk 1:5
1 Corinthians 14:15 – I will pray with Spirit, and I will also pray with understanding. I will sing with the Spirit, and I will also sing with understanding.
Praying in tongues is a universal benefit for all believers. It is not a requirement or proof of salvation; rather, it is a benefit available to us through the work of Jesus and the indwelling of the Spirit. It is not reserved for those with a special calling. It does not require any special training, qualification, or preparation. It is a free gift to all because of the blood of Jesus. – Mike Bickle “Growing in Prayer”
1 Corinthians 14:39 – Therefore, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
